Personal Philosophy:
|
In my classroom, students learn to think for themselves, think collectively, and think for now, the past, and the future. I believe that students should and can have an impact in the classroom. Students will develop self-regulation and personal responsibility as they learn to think critically about the world around them and reflect upon what it means to be a successful, contributing citizen of this country. I hold high expectations for each student because I believe that every student can be successful both in and out of my classroom. As an instructor, I provide three main functions in my classroom, that of a classroom manager, mediator, and guide for students as they continue on their journey of learning and growing. |
